Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is seeking an on-site technician to troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues, perform roadside services, and provide preventative maintenance. The role requires physical ability to move 75+ pounds and work in varying temperatures, with a rotating day/night schedule.

Eligible candidates will contribute to a safety-first environment and may obtain a DOT medical card (Love’s covers the cost). The company emphasizes career development and immediate hiring.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues on vehicles, including wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Move and lift 75+ pounds, work in close quarters and varying temperatures
• Maintain safety and customer satisfaction by following company policies and procedures
• Work a rotating schedule between day and night as needed
• Obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love’s)
