Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is seeking Diesel Technicians to join our fast-paced team. You will troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues, assist customers with roadside services, and provide preventative maintenance.

Expect to move and lift 75+ pounds, work in various temperatures, and adhere to safety policies. A rotating day/night schedule is required, and DOT medical card can be provided at Love’s expense.

Qualifications

• Mechanical repair and diagnostics abilities.
• Strong safety awareness and adherence to policies.
• Comfort working around customers and drivers.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues that may include wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters. Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation. (paid by Love’s)
