Job summary

Penske is seeking a Technician in Romulus, MI to perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on a diverse fleet. You’ll work with experienced supervisors, learn Penske’s maintenance processes, and gain access to industry certified training to grow your career.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and 1–2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license and ability to use Penske tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and ensure vehicle safety for customers.
• Log, research and complete repairs using Penske tools; diagnose basic vehicle systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance such as tire rotation and lubrication on gas/diesel engines.
• Learn new skills through Penske’s technician training and hands-on coaching.
• Support additional tasks as assigned by supervisor.
