Job summary

Penske is seeking a Technician to perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on a diverse fleet at our Pewaukee, WI location. You’ll learn Penske’s maintenance processes and use advanced diagnostic tools, while ensuring safety and reliability for our customers.

You will work with experienced supervisors and master technicians, receive industry-certified training, and have opportunities for growth within a clean, well-equipped facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• 1-2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to solve problems and use basic hand/tools effectively.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and outdoors.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must comply with Penske safety policies and DOT/OSHA requirements.
• Regular, predictable attendance is essential.
• DOT-related background checks and drug screening may be required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair vehicles ensuring safety for customers.
• Use Penske tools/diagnostics to complete repairs and minor diagnostics.
• Perform preventive maintenance like tire rotation and lubrication.
• Learn new skills through Penske training and coaching.
• Take on other projects as assigned by supervisor.
