Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• 1–2 years automotive or diesel repair experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to solve problems and comfort using tools.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Teamwork and ability to work outside.
• Understand and comply with Penske safety policies including DOT/OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Make sure vehicles are maintained and safe for customers.
• Use Penske tools and technologies to log, research and complete repairs, including basic diagnostics.
• Perform preventative maintenance and component lubrication and replacement.
• Collaborate with manager to learn new skills via Penske technician training.
• Take on additional projects as assigned by supervisor.
