Job summary

Penske Rockville is hiring a Technician to perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on a diverse fleet. You will use Penske’s tools and training to keep vehicles safe and on the road, with a Monday–Friday schedule and a starting pay of $27.75 per hour.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent preferred; technical certification is a plus.
• 1-2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to follow DOT/OSHA safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on fleet vehicles.
• Log and research repairs using Penske tools; perform basic diagnostics.
• Rotating tires, lubrications, and cooling system maintenance.
• Collaborate with supervisor to learn new skills and training.
• Adhere to safety policies and DOT requirements.
