TravelCenters of America is seeking a Diesel Technician to provide accurate, efficient service by troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing heavy duty trucks and trailers in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

You will work with a skilled team, ensure adherence to safety standards, and communicate clearly with customers. Flexibility for nights, weekends, and some holidays is required to support our nationwide network.

Qualifications

• Diesel Technician experience or equivalent training.
• Troubleshooting heavy-duty trucks and trailers.
• Basic computer skills and willingness to work in a service shop environment.

Responsibilities

• Work in a fast-paced, customer-focused shop to diagnose and repair trucks and trailers.
• Follow Truck Service standards and safety guidelines on all tasks.
• Communicate clearly with customers and team members about repairs and timelines.
• Diagnose wear conditions and make recommendations to customers and managers.
• Complete repairs within capabilities and written specifications.
• Follow safety guidelines and report potentially unsafe situations.
