Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing Co., L.P. is hiring a Technician to perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on a diverse fleet.

You’ll work with experienced supervisors and master technicians, using Penske tools to diagnose and complete repairs, while following safety policies. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, basic mechanical aptitude, and 1–2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and 1–2 years automotive or diesel repair experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to log repairs using equipment and software.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and ensure safety of vehicles for customers.
• Log, research, and complete repairs using Penske tools and technologies, including basic diagnostics.
• Perform preventative maintenance and component lubrication, tire rotation, and minor electrical and cooling system work on gas and diesel engines.
• Learn new skills through Penske technician training and hands-on coaching with supervision.
