Job summary

Bobcat - Gateway Dealer Network in Illinois is seeking a Diesel Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will perform diagnostics and repairs on Bobcat equipment, provide excellent customer service, and participate in preventive maintenance programs.

The role runs Monday–Friday, 7am–4pm, with a strong focus on safety, teamwork, and professional growth within a leading compact construction equipment provider.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in heavy equipment service operations.
• Strong mechanical background including diagnostics, hydraulics, electrical.
• Self-motivated, results-oriented, organized, energetic, and capable of staying cool under pressure; computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily equipment and preventative maintenance inspections.
• Diagnose and repair major systems on Bobcat equipment, with emphasis on the Bobcat line.
• Perform system rebuilds and overhauls.
• Welding.
• Work effectively with Parts, Service, Sales, Rental.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Supervisor.
