Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops is seeking Diesel Technicians to work in a fast-paced environment, supporting customers and drivers to keep journeys on track. You will interact with customers and drivers, performing maintenance and repairs to ensure reliability.

Typical duties include troubleshooting light mechanical issues, assisting roadside services, performing preventive maintenance, and adhering to safety policies. Lifting requirements and rotating day/night shifts are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Diesel Technician role requires troubleshooting and repair of light mechanical issues.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and maintain safety policies.
• Strong customer service focus when assisting drivers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues that may include wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Move/lift 75+ pounds and work in various temperatures
• Follow safety policies and procedures
• Work rotating day/night shifts
• Obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love’s)
