Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops is hiring Diesel Technicians to work in a fast-paced environment, interacting with customers and drivers to keep journeys smooth. You will troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues across wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, and engine components.

You’ll perform preventative maintenance, assist roadside services, and follow safety policies. Lifting 75+ pounds and rotating day/night shifts are required; Love’s offers tuition assistance, 401(k)

Qualifications

• Experience diagnosing and repairing light mechanical issues on trucks or diesel engines.
• Able to operate in a fast-paced environment and maintain safety policies.
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds and work in varying temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues that may include wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components.
• Assist customers with roadside services.
• Provide preventative maintenance services.
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters. Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation. (paid by Love’s)
