Rush Truck Centers, part of Rush Enterprises Inc., is seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to service and repair trucks, engines, and components. The role includes diagnosing issues, planning repairs, and performing overhauls while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has 5 years of Class 7/8 experience in a dealership or equivalent facility, a current driver license, and relevant ASE or OEM certifications. Competitive pay and opportunities for training are provided.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Class 7 & 8 technician in a dealership or related truck service facility.
• Must possess a current and valid driver license meeting insurability guidelines.
• Peterbilt, International, Ford, Hino, Isuzu, Cummins, and/or ASE certifications are preferred and rewarded.

Responsabilités

• Provide technical service to vehicles and equipment.
• Perform general and detailed repair of trucks, engines and components.
• Overhaul gas or diesel engines and install engine parts.
• Read job orders and plan work procedures.
• Attend training classes and keep abreast of factory bulletins.
• Develop and maintain positive customer relationships.
