Job summary

Ryder is seeking a Mid-Level Diesel Technician in Grand Prairie, TX. You will maintain and repair heavy-duty vehicles, diagnose mechanical/electronic issues, and work a Monday–Friday schedule on second shift (11:00 am–7:30 pm) with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational or technical certifications preferred.
• Basic automotive tools required.

Responsibilities

• Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties.
• Performs standard vehicle maintenance.
• Diagnoses standard mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic tools.
• Identifies root causes of failures and performs repairs as required.
• Replaces defective components as instructed.
• Performs facility maintenance duties.
• Interacts with customers/drivers to determine nature of the issue.
