Amerit Fleet Solutions is hiring a skilled Diesel Technician/Mechanic in Bloomington, CA. This non-entry level role focuses on aftertreatment repairs and diagnostics using Cummins Insight Tools & Diagnostics.

Expect to troubleshoot mechanical issues, perform PMs, and keep fleet vehicles running reliably. The position offers a graveyard schedule (Tue–Sat, 9:00 pm–5:30 am) with weekly pay, full benefits within 30 days, and opportunities for advancement nationwide.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on diesel vehicle maintenance and repairs (Cummins, Detroit or Trailers)
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to maintain own tools and toolbox for the role
• Willingness to meet physical demands and pass screenings (drug & DOT if required)

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on medium- to heavy-duty fleet vehicles
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and document repairs
• Conduct safety inspections to ensure compliance
• Complete work orders accurately and maintain organized work area
• Collaborate with supervisors and teammates to support fleet operations
