Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is seeking Diesel Technicians to join a fast-paced team focused on keeping trucks moving and customers safe. You will diagnose and repair mechanical issues, assist with roadside services, and perform preventive maintenance in a high-volume environment.

You will operate on a rotating day/night schedule, strive for safety and customer satisfaction, and have the opportunity to obtain a DOT medical card with Love’s support.

Qualifications

• Experience diagnosing and repairing light mechanical issues.
• Able to lift 75+ pounds and work in various temperatures.
• Commitment to safety policies and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues that may include wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components.
• Assist customers with roadside services.
• Provide preventative maintenance services.
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters. Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation. (paid by Love’s)
