Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is seeking a Diesel Technician to diagnose and repair light mechanical issues for customers and drivers. You will perform preventative maintenance, assist roadside services, and work in a fast-paced environment with rotating day/night shifts.

Successful candidates will lift 75+ pounds, work in varying temperatures, and follow Love's safety policies. DOT medical card may be obtained at Love's expense, with opportunities for development and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues including wheel-end assemblies, electricals, suspensions, A/C, or engine components.
• Interact with customers and drivers to assist with roadside services when needed.
• Maintain safe, clean work areas and follow safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues that may include wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components.
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds and work in close quarters; tolerate various temperatures
• Always prioritize safety and customer satisfaction per company policies
• Work a rotating schedule between day and night as needed
• Possess ability to obtain a medical card through the DOT (paid by Love's)
