Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is seeking Diesel Technicians to perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on light mechanical systems in a fast-paced environment. You will interact with customers and drivers to ensure safe and efficient service.

Qualifications

• Experience in light mechanical troubleshooting and preventative maintenance.
• Ability to lift 75+ pounds and work in varying temperatures.
• Excellent customer service and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues such as wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components.
• Assist customers with roadside services and provide preventive maintenance.
• Communicate with drivers and customers to ensure safe, efficient service.
• Move and lift heavy components as needed and work in rotating day/night shifts.
• Follow safety policies and procedures and prioritize customer satisfaction.
• Possess ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love's).
