Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops is hiring Diesel Technicians to troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues while assisting customers and drivers. You will perform preventative maintenance and support roadside services in a fast-paced environment.

Candidates should be able to lift 75+ pounds, work in varying temperatures, and adhere to safety policies. A rotating day/night schedule is required, and Love’s covers DOT medical card costs where applicable.

Qualifications

• Experience in light mechanical troubleshooting and maintenance is preferred.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and policies.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues (wheel-end, electrical, suspensions, A/C, engine components).
• Assist customers with roadside services.
• Provide preventative maintenance services.
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds and work in varied temperatures.
• Prioritize safety and customer satisfaction per company policy.
• Work a rotating day/night schedule as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love’s).
