Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops and Country Stores is hiring Diesel Technicians to troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues, assist customers with roadside services, and perform preventive maintenance in a fast-paced setting.

You will move and lift 75+ pounds, work in varied temperatures, and rotate shifts between day and night. Love’s provides safety-focused training and opportunity to obtain a DOT medical card paid by the company.

Qualifications

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues as part of daily duties.
• Assist customers with roadside services and problem resolution.
• Provide preventive maintenance services and safety-first mindset.
• Move and lift 75+ pounds in variable temperatures and spaces.
• Follow company safety policies and procedures at all times.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues that may include wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters; work in various temperatures
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of customers first; comply with safety policies
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love’s)
