Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is seeking Diesel Technicians to diagnose and repair diesel systems, assist customers, and perform preventative maintenance in a fast-paced setting. You will interact with drivers and travelers, ensuring safety and satisfaction while maintaining facilities.

The role requires physical ability to lift heavy parts, work in varying temperatures, and participate in rotating day/night shifts. Love’s offers competitive pay and growth opportunities, with a tuition assistance program

Qualifications

Experience diagnosing and repairing diesel vehicle components.
Ability to work with electrical systems and wheel-end assemblies.
Strong commitment to safety policies and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues including wheel-end assemblies and A/C or engine components.
Assist customers with roadside services and provide preventative maintenance.
Move and lift heavy parts and work in varied temperatures.
Follow safety policies to protect customers and team members.
Work a rotating schedule with day and night shifts as needed.
Obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love’s).
