Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops is seeking Diesel Technicians to work in a fast-paced shop, diagnosing and repairing light mechanical issues, wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, and engine components for trucks and drivers.

You will interact with customers on the road, perform preventative maintenance, and uphold safety standards. This role includes competitive pay, tuition assistance, and immediate opportunities for career development.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues including wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Ability to move and lift 75+ pounds; work in various temperatures
• Always put safety and customer satisfaction first, complying with company safety policies & procedures
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love’s)
