Job summary

Love's Travel Stops in Virginia is seeking a Diesel Technician to troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues, including wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C or engine components, and to assist customers with roadside services and preventive maintenance.

You must be able to move and lift 75+ pounds, work in varying temperatures, and rotate between day and night shifts as needed. Love's offers competitive pay and robust benefits.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues that may include wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters. Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation. (paid by Love’s)
