Qualifications

• Petroleum industry experience is strongly desired.
• HAZWOPER training and spill response duties if required.
• Ability to work in a team environment with staff personnel.
• Ability to prioritize daily work schedules based on operational requirements.
• Self-motivated and capable of working efficiently with little supervision.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain trailers in compliance with DOT requirements.
• Maintain DOT compliance documentation for mechanical work.
• Perform tire changes.
• Coordinate emergency maintenance and breakdown repairs.
• Coordinate outside repairs and tanker certifications/inspections.
• Maintain shop area, order parts and lubricants.
• Perform routine maintenance: oil changes, filters, power steering, suspension, PTOs, brakes, wheel bearings, electrical systems.
• Perform all preventative maintenance schedules on vehicles/equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair transport trucks, tankers, and semi-trailers.
