Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing is hiring a Maintenance Technician in Belcamp, MD. You will perform preventative maintenance and repairs on our fleet, ensuring safety and reliability for customers.

The role requires hands-on troubleshooting and logging using Penske tools, with training provided. The position offers a Tuesday-Saturday shift 2:30pm–11:00pm, a competitive starting pay of $30.75–$34.22/hour, plus a $3.00 shift differential, and a comprehensive benefits plan.

Qualifications

• 3 years of practical experience with vehicle maintenance required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• ASE and 608/609 certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining vehicles to be safe for customers.
• Performing preventive maintenance services with minimal supervision.
• Repairing and troubleshooting engines, transmissions, differentials and related components.
• Keeping work area clean and safe.
• Using Penske tools to log, diagnose and complete repairs.
• Participating in Penske technician training.
• Working on other projects as assigned.
