What You'll Do
- Performing repairs according to manufacturer and dealership standards
- Diagnosing and repairing diesel engines, drivability concerns, and vehicle systems
- Utilizing advanced diagnostic equipment and special service tools
- Test-driving vehicles and evaluating vehicle systems and components
- Diagnosing and repairing engines, transmissions, steering, suspension, brakes, HVAC, and electrical systems
- Communicating repair recommendations and additional service needs with Service Advisors
- Providing accurate repair estimates and timelines
- Completing warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications
- Coordinating with the Parts Department to obtain necessary components
- Accurately documenting repair procedures and findings
- Maintaining productivity while delivering exceptional workmanship
- Keeping a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Qualifications
Required
- Valid Driver's License
- 3-5+ Years of Professional Automotive Technician Experience
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to consistently produce quality flat-rate hours
- Commitment to excellence, productivity, and customer satisfaction
Preferred
- Diesel repair experience
- GM dealership experience
- Manufacturer certifications
- ASE certifications
