Job summary

FCC Environmental Services, LLC is seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel engines in trucks, buses and heavy equipment. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical school or diesel mechanic certification preferred
  • Familiarity with diesel engines, fuel systems, electrical systems and diagnostics
  • Energetic, detail oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel engines, transmissions and other mechanical systems
  • Perform preventive maintenance on diesel vehicles and equipment
  • Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and fuel system issues
  • Test drive vehicles to verify repairs and functionality
  • Maintain accurate service records and repair documentation
  • Use diagnostic tools to identify faults and issues
  • Assist with parts ordering and inventory as needed
  • Follow safety procedures to maintain a safe work environment
  • Communicate with service advisors or customers about repairs and timelines
  • Keep work areas clean and organized
