Ryder Supply Chain Solutions in Morristown, TN is seeking a Mid-Level Diesel Technician to maintain and repair heavy-duty vehicles. The role offers weekly pay, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for certification bonuses and quarterly bonuses.

Primary duties include preventive maintenance, diagnostics, component repairs, and customer communication while adhering to safety and DOT guidelines. Must have basic tools and a CDL-A or be working toward one.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational/technical certification preferred.
• Basic tools required.
• 2+ years of mechanical repair experience preferred.
• CDL Class A preferred (or ability to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties.
• Performs standard vehicle maintenance and inspections.
• Diagnoses mechanical/electronic problems using diagnostic tools.
• Performs preventive maintenance.
• Identifies root causes and performs repairs as needed.
• Replaces faulty components as instructed.
• Interacts with customers/drivers to determine nature of the issue.
• Uses Shop Management System for documentation and workflow.
• Adheres to safety, DOT, and company policies.
