Job summary

Ryder is hiring a Mid-Level Diesel Technician in Batesburg, South Carolina. The role offers weekly pay, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for overtime bonuses.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational or Technical Certification preferred.
• Basic tools required.
• Two years or more of related training/experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties.
• Performs standard vehicle maintenance.
• Performs standard component inspections and repairs.
• Performs preventive maintenance.
• Diagnoses mechanical problems using diagnostic tools when applicable.
• Identifies root causes of failures and performs repairs.
• Interacts with customers/drivers to determine nature of the issue.
• Uses the Shop Management System for documentation and workflow.
