Ryder System, Inc. is hiring a Mid-Level Diesel Technician in Batesburg, South Carolina. This role offers a stable career with weekly pay, full benefits, and opportunities for overtime and advancement.

The position features hourly pay of $24.00, a certification bonus up to $700, and quarterly bonuses up to $500 per quarter. Schedule is Monday–Friday with weekends off, first shift 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on diesel/heavy-duty repair experience.
• Experience with preventive maintenance and diagnostics.
• Ability to obtain CDL within 6 months.
• Demonstrated aptitude in mechanical repair of automotive engines including diesel.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle maintenance and repair duties.
• Perform standard vehicle maintenance tasks.
• Conduct component inspections and repairs.
• Perform preventive maintenance.
• Diagnose mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic tools.
• Identify root causes of faults and perform repairs as required.
• Replace defective components as instructed.
• Interact with customers/drivers to determine nature of the issue.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory guidelines.
