Job summary

Casella Waste is seeking a Diesel Technician to maintain diesel equipment, perform inspections, and complete preventive maintenance. You will troubleshoot, repair, and test vehicles, while keeping detailed records to support safety and customer service commitments.

Qualifications

Requires High School Diploma or GED.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Willingness to work in challenging conditions and outdoors.

Responsibilities

Performs all duties following safety policies and regulations.
Performs maintenance tasks based on driver inspections and directed by maintenance manager.
Maintains diesel equipment by completing inspections and preventive maintenance.
Diagnoses problems, tests vehicles, and test drives to identify malfunctions.
Maintains records of all work and procedures and reports issues.
Performs lockout/tagout procedures and ensures safety.
