Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year experience inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing trucks and stationary equipment.
• Valid driver's license (Class A, B, or C) preferred.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Performs duties per safety policies and regulations.
• Performs maintenance tasks based on driver pre/post trip inspections.
• Maintains diesel equipment by inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Works in adverse conditions to repair equipment and vehicles.
• Builds and assembles machines or components as required.
• Troubleshoots problems and resolves them promptly.
• Maintains records for all work and reports issues.
• Performs lockout/tagout procedures accurately.
• Runs diagnostic tests and test drives to diagnose malfunctions.
• Performs required procedures to ensure reliability and safety; services brakes, tires, hydraulics.
