Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is seeking Diesel Apprentices to join a fast-paced, customer-focused team at our Texas location. No professional experience is required; you’ll be trained in electrical, HVAC, wheel-end, air systems and other diagnostics while helping customers and drivers.

You will learn through hands-on instruction, work a rotating day/night schedule, and aim to obtain a DOT medical card. Love’s offers tuition assistance, benefits after 30 days, and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• No professional experience required; mechanical inclination encouraged.
• Willingness to learn automotive diagnostics and repair basics.
• Ability to follow safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with roadside services.
• Learn preventative maintenance services.
• Move or lift 75+ pounds in close quarters; work in varying temperatures.
• Maintain safe, clean work areas and comply with safety policies.
• Rotating day/night schedule; may be required to obtain a DOT medical card (Love’s pays).
