Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is hiring Diesel Apprentices to join a fast-paced, customer-focused team. You will learn electrical and mechanical diagnostics and assist with roadside services while gaining hands-on skills in a supportive, safety‑driven environment.

No professional experience required; Love’s will teach you. You’ll work rotating day and night shifts, lift heavy loads, and develop the fundamentals of diesel maintenance as part of a growing national network.

Qualifications

• No professional experience required; training provided.
• Physically able to lift 75+ pounds.
• Able to work in rotating day/night shifts.
• Willing to learn diesel maintenance basics.
• Strong safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with roadside services.
• Learn preventive maintenance services.
• Move, lift 75+ pounds in close quarters.
• Work in varying temperatures.
• Follow safety policies and procedures.
• Rotate between day and night schedules.
• Possess ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love’s).
