Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops invites applicants to join the Diesel Apprentices program. You will learn electrical/AC/diagnostics, wheel end, air systems, and basic computer diagnostics while gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

The role includes assisting customers with roadside services, learning preventative maintenance, and rotating day/night shifts. You must be able to lift 75+ pounds and obtain a DOT medical card paid by Love’s.

Qualifications

• No professional experience required; candidates who are mechanically inclined will be taught on the job.
• Able to learn electrical/diagnostic procedures and preventative maintenance.
• Must be able to work safely in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with roadside services.
• Learn preventative maintenance services and basic diagnostics.
• Able to move and lift 75+ pounds in close quarters; work in variable temperatures.
• Follow safety policies and procedures and rotate between day and night shifts.
• Obtain a DOT medical card (paid by Love’s).
