Job summary

Love's Travel Stops offers a Diesel Apprentices program aimed at training individuals with no prior professional experience. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment, help customers and drivers, and learn electrical, air conditioning, wheel end, and other diagnostic skills to support our maintenance operations.

It’s a great entry path to a career with Love’s, with opportunities to move into skilled roles as you gain hands-on experience and safety training.

Qualifications

• Customer interaction skills are valuable for assisting travelers and drivers.
• Mechanical aptitude to understand diagnostics and repairs.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with roadside services.
• Learn preventative maintenance services.
• Move, lift 75+ pounds in close quarters.
• Follow safety policies and procedures.
• Work a rotating day/night schedule as needed.
• Possibly obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love’s).
