Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is seeking Diesel Apprentices in Houston to train in electrical, air conditioning, wheel end, air system, air brakes, charging system and basic computer diagnostics. You will assist motorists, learn preventative maintenance, and work safely in a fast-paced environment with a rotating day/night schedule.

No prior professional experience is required; we will teach you and cover tuition assistance, with strong benefits including health insurance, 401(k) match, PTO, and career

Qualifications

• No professional experience required; willing to learn and be trained.
• Physically able to move and lift 75+ pounds and work in varying temperatures.
• Willing to obtain a Department of Transportation medical card (paid by Love’s).

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with roadside services and basic maintenance tasks.
• Learn preventative maintenance services and diagnostic procedures.
• Work in a fast-paced environment with rotating day/night schedules.
