Job summary

TravelCenters of America is seeking a Diesel Technician to join our team. You will troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair heavy duty trucks and trailers, delivering safe, efficient service in alignment with company standards. Key duties include diagnostic testing, developing repair plans with the Service Advisor, and maintaining a clean, safe work area.

Flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays is required. On-site benefits accompany this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and/or relevant trade school completion.
• Ability to expand knowledge via education and training programs.
• Ability to work unsupervised with flexible hours including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair diesel engines and related components.
• Perform diagnostic testing and communicate repair plan to Service Advisor.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and assist customers as needed.
• Recommend TA services during inspection reviews.
