Job summary

Republic Services offers a Technician Apprenticeship to train entry-level diesel technicians over two years. Tenants join nine weeks of paid training at the Dallas Technical Institute, followed by twenty-two months of on-the-job training with mentorship toward Apprentice certification.

Participants gain hands-on experience in electrical, hydraulics, air brakes, and truck maintenance, with potential advancement to Level C Technician and full-time opportunities upon graduation.

Qualifications

• Will be a logical problem solver with enthusiasm for vehicle engineering and learning.

• Ability to work a flexible schedule including some nights/weekends/holidays.
• Willingness to travel to and live in Dallas, Texas for 9 weeks of in-person training.
