Job summary
Performance Foodservice in Massachusetts is seeking a skilled Fleet Maintenance Technician to perform preventative maintenance on medium to heavy-duty trucks and trailers, ensuring roadworthiness and regulatory compliance. You will document work orders, interact professionally with colleagues, and occasionally perform road calls to service customers' fleets.
The role requires at least 2 years of relevant repair experience, with strong diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting abilities.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent required.
- 2+ years of proven medium to heavy-duty vehicle repair experience including PMs, tire & wheel, air & brakes, diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, and A/C refrigeration.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on fleet diesel equipment.
- Identify root causes of failures and perform repairs as required.
- Ensure roadworthiness by verifying licensing and registration.
- Document work orders and maintenance in the online Enterprise Asset Management system.
- Install, replace, and repair onboard computers and inspect critical systems.
