Decker Truck Line in Des Moines, IA is seeking a Diesel Mechanic Technician to perform maintenance and repairs on a private fleet of late-model trucks and trailers. The role offers a choice of 4- or 5-day weeks, with early hours on first shift.

Requirements include 6+ months auto/diesel experience, own tools (lease-to-own option), a valid driver license, and basic computer skills. PACCAR experience is a plus, with comprehensive safety policies and a strong team culture.

Qualifications

• Computer-based diagnostic skills with OEM interfaces.
• PACCAR experience preferred.
• 6+ months auto or diesel mechanic experience.
• Must have own tools; tool lease-to-own program available if needed.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Basic computer knowledge for email and work orders.
• Knowledge and adherence to DOT/OSHA policies and procedures.

Responsabilités
