Job summary

Brown NationaLease in Davenport, IA is hiring Diesel Technicians for all shifts. You’ll perform PMs, DOT inspections, and repairs on heavy-duty tractors and trailers, keeping fleets moving safely.

The role requires 2+ years of diesel mechanic experience and a comprehensive tool set; a Valid Driver's License is required and Class A CDL is preferred. We offer a stable schedule, modern shop, uniforms, benefits, 401(k) matching, PTO and holidays.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional diesel mechanic experience.
• Must possess a comprehensive set of personal tools and toolbox.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Class A CDL is highly preferred.
• Ability to conduct accurate diagnostics and perform quality repairs safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance (PM) services, DOT inspections, and comprehensive repairs on heavy-duty tractors and trailers.
• Handle routine service on tires, brakes, and general components to keep fleets moving safely.
• Work in a modern shop with heavy-duty lifts and OEM diagnostic equipment.
• Uniforms provided; uniforms cleaned weekly; personal storage available.
