Job summary

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience as a diesel/heavy-duty trailer technician preferred.
• Brake and DOT Certifications are a plus.
• Welding certificate or 6 months of experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on fleet equipment.
• Diagnose and repair fleet equipment as necessary.
• Complete repairs following DOT requirements.

Skills

Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and other automotive systems

Strong understanding of diesel automotive systems and electrical diagnostics

Strong understanding of diesel/trailer maintenance processes and methods

Effective communication with colleagues and superiors
