Nussbaum is expanding its team of Diesel Technicians at their Hudson, IL location. In this critical role, you will be responsible for performing repairs and preventative maintenance on fleet equipment, ensuring all DOT inspections are completed accurately.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience as a diesel or heavy-duty trailer technician.
• Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and other automotive systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on semi-trucks.
• Diagnose and repair fleet equipment.
• Complete inspections following DOT requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Skills

Understanding of electrical systems

Ability to navigate schematics

Effective communication

Education

Diesel Technician Degree or 1+ years experience

Brake and DOT Certifications
