Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Princeton, Indiana is hiring a mid-level Diesel Technician on the second shift (3:00 pm – 11:30 pm). This regular-full-time role offers weekly pay, state-of-the-art diagnostics, and a robust benefits package beginning after 30 days.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Two years of related training/experience preferred.
• Valid CDL Class A preferred.
• Must pass Ryder drug test and DOT physical.

Responsibilities

• Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties
• Performs standard vehicle maintenance
• Performs standard component inspections and repairs
• Performs preventive maintenance
• Diagnoses mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostics
• Identifies root causes and performs repairs as required
• Replaces defective components as instructed
• Interacts with customers/drivers to determine nature of complaints
• Uses Shop Management System and electronic documentation
• Adheres to safety, DOT, MOT guidelines
