Qualifications

• Demonstrated aptitude and applied experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines, including routine preventative maintenance such as oil changes and brake work.

Responsibilities

• Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties
• Performs standard vehicle maintenance
• Performs standard component inspections and repairs
• Performs preventive maintenance
• Diagnoses mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic equipment
• Identifies root cause and performs repairs as required
• Replaces defective components as instructed
• Interacts with customers/drivers to determine nature of the issue
• Follows Shop Management System and documentation procedures
• Maintains safety and compliance with DOT/MOT guidelines
• Performs other support duties as needed to support operations
