Ryder is hiring a Mid-Level Diesel Technician in Batesburg, South Carolina. The role offers weekly pay, excellent benefits, and opportunities for certification bonuses and quarterly incentives.

Responsibilities include diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing heavy-duty diesel systems, interacting with customers, and adhering to safety and regulatory standards. A CDL is preferred and must be obtainable within 6 months of hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Basic tools required.
• 2+ years of mechanical repair experience preferred.
• CDL Class A preferred; must obtain CDL within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties.
• Performs standard vehicle maintenance.
• Performs standard component inspections and repairs.
• Diagnoses mechanical and electronic problems; uses diagnostic equipment as applicable.
• Interacts with customers/drivers to determine the nature of the issue.
• Follows safety, DOT, MOT and company guidelines.
