Ryder in Batesburg-Leesville, SC, seeks a Mid-Level Diesel Technician to maintain and repair heavy-duty vehicles. First shift, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm, with weekly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualified candidates bring diesel repair experience, basic tools, and a CDL Class A may be preferred; ASE certs and certifications bonuses available. Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational or technical certification preferred.
• Basic tools required.
• Two+ years of combined classroom training and work experience in diesel repair preferred.
• CDL Class A preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties.
• Performs standard vehicle maintenance and inspections.
• Diagnoses mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic tools.
• Identifies root cause of failures and performs repairs as required.
• Interacts with customers/drivers to determine nature of complaints.
• Adheres to safety and regulatory guidelines in all tasks.
