Fraley & Schilling, Inc. is seeking a Diesel Technician in Lexington, SC to perform maintenance on commercial motor vehicles.

You will inspect, diagnose, and repair components, ensuring trucks operate safely and efficiently, with a focus on preventive maintenance and daily equipment readiness. The role requires 5+ years of diesel maintenance experience, familiarity with diagnostic tools, and the ability to document activities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in the Diesel Maintenance field.
• Prefer Associate degree from technical school.
• Experience with computer software maintenance (Paccar, Davie, Cummins, Wabco, Bendix, Freightliner).
• Ability to provide 3 professional references.
• Proficient computer skills and ability to diagnose and program changes.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles to determine condition via inspections and diagnostics.
• Perform preventive maintenance to keep equipment available.
• Repair, replace, or adjust major vehicle components and systems.
• Test drive vehicles to verify performance and adjustments.
• Maintain vehicle records and ensure safe operation.
• Keep shop equipment working by following instructions and safety rules.
