Job summary

Commercial Metals Company in Lexington, SC seeks a maintenance technician to ensure equipment reliability and safe operation in an industrial setting. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot breakdowns, and maintain records of services and repairs while adhering to safety regulations.

Candidates should lift up to 50 lbs, work overtime as needed, and have experience with hydraulics/pneumatics and reading technical manuals.

Qualifications

Lift up to 50 lbs.
Stand for long periods in an industrial environment.
Overtime as necessary.
DOT and AC 609 preferred.

Responsibilities

Demonstrates dependability in attendance, work completion, and flexibility to meet business needs.
Effectively communicates with co-workers and customers in a positive manner.
Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs when needed.
Maintains work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows safety regulations.
Perform DOT maintenance on road tractors and trailers.
Prepares and maintains accurate records of services and repairs.
Any other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
