Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops in Pennsylvania is seeking a Diesel Technician to keep trucks and fleet vehicles in top condition in a fast-paced, customer‑facing environment. You will troubleshoot light mechanical issues, perform preventative maintenance, and assist drivers with roadside services, while upholding safety standards.

The role requires the ability to lift 75+ pounds, work rotating day/night shifts, and obtain a medical card through the DOT (Love’s covers the cost).

Qualifications

• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds in close quarters.
• Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Commitment to safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues that may include wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love’s)

Job Functions

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues that may include wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components
• Assist customers with roadside services
